| Fair Trade Fundraiser Program: Idea Share - Cake Party |
Fundraising participants at the Westchester Academy for International Studies were rewarded with a coupon to leave class early for a cake party! Kim Montgomery, 7th grade science teacher and fundraising organizer says, "kids respond well to food." While top sellers earned Equal Exchange hats and t-shirts as prizes, the cake party was open to all students that helped raise money for the 7th grade.
