Trips to the Coffee Lands
During coffee harvest seasons faithful and passionate Fair Trade supporters like you join Equal Exchange's Interfaith program on delegations to coffee growing regions and learn firsthand about the realities of coffee farmers.
We believe that delegations are an important way of connecting consumers and producers who are part of the Fair Trade system. Visiting cooperatives, meeting coffee farmers and their families, staying in their homes, and experiencing the hard work of picking coffee are all ways that we as consumers can begin to understand the dedication of coffee farmers to their land and their community. It is our hope that delegates will come back ready to spread the word about the importance of Fair Trade in their own congregations and communities. We will post trip dates when they are confirmed and open for applications.
