Hot Cocoa, Pecan, Cranberry Oatmeal |
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Old Fashioned (rolled oats) oatmeal
- 2 1/4 cups water
- Dash of salt
- 3-4 TBSP Equal Exchange Organic Hot Cocoa
- 1/4 cup of pecans
- 1/4 cup of dried sweetened cranberries
- 1/2 tsp dried cinnamon
Directions:
Combine water and salt in a small saucepan and turn the heat to high. When the water boils, turn heat to low, add oatmeal, and cook, stirring until the water is absorbed (about 5 minutes).
Add hot cocoa, pecans, cranberries and cinnamon. Stir, cover the pan, and turn off heat. Let set for 5 minutes.
